Cookie Policy

Last updated: 26 March 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how WOM (“WOM”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and platform. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device on subsequent visits and remember certain information — such as whether you're logged in.

“Similar technologies” include localStorage, sessionStorage, and other browser-based storage mechanisms that serve related purposes.

2. How We Use Cookies

WOM uses strictly necessary cookies only. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

3. Cookies We Use

4. Why We Don't Need Your Cookie Consent

Strictly necessary cookies — those essential to a service explicitly requested by the user — are generally exempt from the requirement to obtain prior consent under applicable privacy regulations. All cookies and storage used by WOM fall into this category.

We do not use analytics services (such as Google Analytics), advertising networks, or social media tracking pixels. If we introduce any non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and implement appropriate consent mechanisms.

5. Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Please be aware that disabling authentication cookies will prevent you from logging in to your WOM account. Instructions for common browsers:

You can also clear localStorage data by opening your browser's Developer Tools (F12), navigating to Application → Storage → Local Storage, and deleting the wom_onboarding key.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if we introduce new technologies or services. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to active Merchants by email.
